We use the nematode C. elegans to study neuronal development.  We are interested in understanding how axons and dendrites are formed and are guided to their targets.  We also investigate how the axonal and dendrite structures are maintained over time and how they can be reconstituted after injury.  We use a combination of genetics, molecular biology and imaging techniques to tackle these neurodevelopmental questions.
